The position is a permanent employment at 100%, but the degree of employment can be discussed based on your wishes.

The political leadership has tasked the Bra Liv Health Centers with investing in selected health centers in the region, with the main purpose of reaching the goal of 1100 listed patients per full-time employed general practitioner (550 per full-time employed ST doctor). The hope is to achieve a number of synergies regarding, among other things, equitable care for residents, increased attractiveness for work in primary care, improved working environment, and a long-term reduced need for temporary doctors at selected health centers.

Skillingaryd is one of the selected health centers! All our doctors here will work according to the new listing goals. We are therefore pleased to recruit a general practitioner with these new conditions. Furthermore, there will be good opportunities for professional development, good supervision, and scheduled collegial support during our medical meetings for you as a doctor with us.

The Role of the District Doctor

As a district doctor at Bra Liv Skillingaryd Health Center, you are offered an independent position where you have the opportunity to influence your work. The work is varied with planned and acute patient visits, supervision of training doctors, collaboration with home care, and the opportunity to work in the municipality's special accommodations and/or child health care. Furthermore, we offer you a fun and exciting job close to the public with many points of contact where your competence is utilized and stimulated. On-call and emergency duty at the Urgent Care Center is included in the position.

The health center has approximately 5,900 listed patients, over 27 employees, and is part of the Bra Liv Health Centers. The health center is located in Vaggeryd municipality, a growing area characterized by entrepreneurship and nature-close areas. Skillingaryd is close to both Jönköping and Värnamo.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Has experience as a district doctor as you will help shape the development of our medical team and the operation in general. Has experience in supervising training doctors and other professions at the health center.
• Can work independently and with various professional groups.
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good reception.
• Is interested and wants to develop and improve the operation together with us.
• Absorbs new knowledge, works according to the latest research, and serves as a knowledge resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, reception, and approach based on the patient and situation.
• Holds a B driver's license.
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment.
